You Will Need: Animation Shop.. Paint Shop Pro.. Glitter File Of Your Choice.
Step One: Choose
your glitter and open it in Animation Shop. Copy and paste each one
into Paint shop. Do this one a time and paste as a new image.
Step Two: Open up a new canvas (File - New) 500x150 is usually a good size but whatever you like. Raster background.. 16 million colours and transparent background.

Step Three: Choose your text tool (A) Choose your font, font size and font colour. Make sure the 'Create As' is Vector.. Type you text.
Step Four: Move the text to where you want it in your canvas. Go to 'Selections - Select None'.
Step Five: You may need to convert your layer to a 'Raster Layer' first. Select your magic wand tool and click inside each of your letters. This should cause a 'Marching Ants' effect.

Step Six: Choose
your paint pot tool. Go to your materials box.. Click the top right
hand colour square. Click 'Patterns' and find the first of your
glitters.. click 'Ok'.
Step Seven: Flood
fill your text. Click 'Selections - Select None', go to 'Edit - Copy'
or 'Copy Merged' if thats available to you. Paste as a new animantion
in animation shop.
Step Eight: Go to 'Edit - Undo' until you come to the marching ants part. Go to you materials box again and click the second part of your glitter, flood fill your text. Click 'Selections - Select None' 'Copy' or 'Copy Merged' and paste after current frame in animation shop.
Step Nine: Do the smae for your remaining glitters - Click 'Undo' until the marching ants, choose the correct glitter, flood fill your text. 'Selections - Select None', 'Copy' or 'Copy Merged', paste after current frame in animation shop.
Step Ten: You should now have all your layers (usually three or four with glitters) in animation shop. Click the animation button to see if it has worked and then save. Usually works better when animated designs are saved as .gifs or .png.

You can also do floaties and smilies text this way. Just replace your glitters with the floatie or smilie images.
With the moving smilies in the smilie text.. you do this at the very end when everything is animation shop and your about to save. Open the smilies you would like to use in animation shop. Click on one of them.. press 'ctrl + A' which selects the whole image then 'ctrl + C' which copies it all. Next, click on your smilies text image press 'ctrl + A' to select all and 'ctrl + E to paste the whole animation smilie onto your smilie text. Move to where you want. Click the animation button to check it has worked, do the rest of your smilies this way then save your finished work.
